The Air Force Flight Test Museum (AFFTM) is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m. for people who already have base access. The museum’s phone number is 661-277-8050. For those who do not have base access there is a General Public Tour offered twice a month. The tours are free, but reservations are required. Visitors from countries other than the United States who are traveling with a passport or a visa must make reservations with Public Affairs at least 30-calendar days in advance of the requested tour date.
