About the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix

The Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix is a signature weekend event in downtown Lancaster, Ca. Situated in the High Desert just sixty miles north of Los Angeles, Lancaster offers clear sunny skies perfect for professional racing. The Grand Prix features professional Go Kart racing, with all ages participating. The newly revitalized Downtown Lancaster hosts this event which includes a street festival, classic car show and live entertainment. The City of Lancaster is pleased to join with SKUSA in hosting this racing-in-the-streets extravaganza which kicks off Friday morning with racing, practice and qualifying.

Visiting drivers set up Friday with practice racing starting Saturday morning as well as opening ceremonies. VIP races of local dignitaries will occur Friday and Saturday evening. Winner of the VIP race will be crowned “BLVD Champ” with bragging rights for the year. Official racing resumes on Sunday throughout the afternoon.
