Antelope Valley is located in northern Los Angeles County, California and the southeast portion of Kern County, California, and constitutes the western tip of the Mojave Desert. It is situated between the Tehachapi and the San Gabriel Mountains. The valley was named for the pronghorns that are said to have roamed there until being eliminated by hunters and bad weather in the 1880's. The principal cities in the Antelope Valley are Palmdale and Lancaster.

Less than 30 days until the 82nd Annual AV Fair & Alfalfa Festival - “Barntober Fest” happens! It’s been a wild ride getting here, but we are ready to “Fair” - October 1st through October 10th.
As we get ready to gather with family and friends, eat delicious fair food, enjoy live music, ride crazy carnival rides, experience high action arena events, and make memories that will last a lifetime – we are committed to ensuring all of our guests remain healthy and safe while enjoying iconic fair traditions.
There are a few changes this year, including online-only ticket purchasing for day-specific admission, and all guests will be required to adhere to safety protocols required by LA County and the State of California.
